The main office called-and called- (even on Sunday) to get this job- we were in the midst of total house remodel- hard wood flooring, painting, etc., so tried to communicate the best time to install carpet in the upstairs- was assured we could do all the downstairs hardwood and entire house repainting first-  installer showed up- no floor covering (never had a contractor not bring paper/plastic to protect existing flooring) installer was argumentative with us- said we'd have to go buy hardwood flooring protection and that he could not guarantee the new installed/painted floor boards in 3 large bedrooms would not be damaged- we called the office got a run-around about guarantee for the carpet- I was questioning IF the installed damaged the walls/new hard wood flooring, etc., kept getting the runaround on the phone- installer didn't want to do the job as the flooring was so new -he had nothing in the truck to protect the entry way or the new stairs heading to the 3 bedrooms- we finally gave in and decided to take a chance- throughout the process the installer was wanting to argue everything with us (doorway from stone floor bathroom to carpet, etc., )we already knew what we wanted done- had a designer, etc., decide this- but installer always throught he knew best- and argued it with us-  after job was finished- no one from the company contacted us about any of this-even though we had tried to communicate with the main office before the installation- plus this company (3 day notice before install) wanted ALL money up front- said if we refused the installer we'd be hit with a "fee" I would not recommend this place because of terrible lack of communication- they were hounding us to get the job and get paid- then they just were missing in action- leaving everything to this installer that kept challenging our decisions even where the furniture would be returned (we paid extra to have large furniture moved around the upstairs to free up each room one at a time)  he was obviously frustrated because the main office never advised him of the large (2) king size beds, etc., and desk, he clearly wanted out of this installation- so much so that once finished he left- we chased after him as he kept forgetting his tools, etc., two hours later he had to return as he forget his jacket and house keys- perhaps the guy is over worked- not sure-  am more upset with Carpet To Go for not communicating anything or contacting us once they got our money full - in advance.
